TheYachtMarket was founded in 2003 with the ethos of being the easiest place to buy and sell boats online. Today their database of yachts, commercial vessels and boats has grown, and they have the enviable reputation of being a global and trusted resource for all types of craft.
They moved to larger premises in Southampton’s busiest thoroughfare, a prestigious Georgian building that was a former bank, and needed external signage. Not only did the signage design need to take into consideration the aesthetics of the building, it needed of course to promote TYM brand effectively, and be visible both day and night to capitalise on attracting passing traffic. By creating raised stainless steel lettering, cleverly lit internally and externally, the signage not only reflected the brand, it complimented the sandstone brickwork and had empathy to the styling of luxury boats too. Now main sponsors of the Southampton Boat Show, TheYachtMarket are going from strength to strength.
