We were very excited to be part of the crew at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton. Fender took over the Patterns venue with their stage showcasing the best in new music.
Splash Display delivered a number of projects for the festival including building the drum riser on the stage, the window graphics (bespoke to fit the beautiful arched windows), a number of stretched canvas prints for the VIP room and some huge banners for the front of the building.
16 artists took to the Fender stage including Johnny Marr, Declan McKenna, Sam Fender and Nothing But Thieves.

Splash Display were commissioned to create permanent FSDUs for marine suppliers Bainbridge Marine.
The FSDU is a tubular unit made in card, acrylic and PVC with full colour printed graphic wrap running around its central section. The gloss white acrylic gives it a clean look and it has a sturdy matrix of holes and tubular slots to support the wide range of carbon fibre sail battens produced by Bainbridge.
These FSDU were distributed to chandleries across the UK and Europe.
Arturia, founded in Grenoble, France in 1999, are a music software and hardware company. They came to Splash Display looking for contemporary signage to complement their innovative, cutting-edge musical instruments and software.
We designed and produced a range of signs using LED logo light panels.
Over 200 signs were produced and will be displayed in music stores worldwide, at the hub of the Arturia products. The signs can either be fixed to the wall, or ceiling hung.

Splash Display are delighted to have contributed to a project run by three University of Chichester students, Annie Simpson, Rachael Beaumont, Tamara Whittick. Back in September 2017 they had been assigned a project called ‘Making Change Happen’ in which they needed to make a positive change for primary school children.
They were tasked with renovating the outdoor area of primary school called Front Lawn Primary Academy in Havant. "We wanted to make this area an exciting, educational experience where the children are enthused to participate in outdoor learning," explained Annie Simpson.
"This pond area was severely overgrown and unused for 7 years. Over the last 7 months we have sought donations from the local community, fundraised in school and have put in numerous hours of hard labour to make our vision a reality. We are so pleased and thankful that Splash Display were able support us on our journey and provide life cycle acrylics, which will not only motivate the children to understand the world but provide an interact resource linking to the science national curriculum."
Splash Display created a collection of acrylic discs with full-colour printed graphics on, which could be used around the school pond, to help children identify creatures and understand the different stages of their life cycles.
Annie had this to say, "I just wanted to say a massive thank you again for creating out wonderful life cycle acrylics, they look absolutely fantastic! We can’t wait for the children to see them tomorrow!"
With a very short timescale on hand, Splash Display leapt at the challenge presented by Joanna Jensen, CEO & Founder of award winning brand Childs Farm to create a shop environment on the rear of their beloved Land Rover Defender crewcab.
Produced in a flat pack form, the kit resides within the rear canopy, safe from the cab, but comes to life when assembled and fitted to the rear of the truck, something the team can execute swiftly and without any special tools.
Perspex product shelves hang in place and showcase the range beautifully. Full colour printed graphics accentuate the branding and make the unit inviting and intriguing. The candy stripe roof looks striking from a distance, giving the unit a really vibrant appearance.
This unit took to the road and was showcased at Ireland's Pregnancy and Baby Fair during this month.
Did you know that Fareham, Hampshire is home to the largest drum shop in whole of the UK? People from miles around travel to Graham Russell Drums to see, try and buy from their vast range of new and used drum kits and accessories. They also host regular masterclasses and often have star guest appearances.
Graham engaged Splash Display to create the World's biggest and best (his words!) cymbal wall, in their newly developed Cymbal Loft which was opened to the public with great fanfare on Good Friday. The unit will allow customers to easily navigate the huge range of cymbals on offer at GRD.
The wall is over 10 metres in length, has space for all of the key brands including Sabian, Zildjian, Istanbul, and Paiste. It has warm downlighting to accentuate the look of the cymbals on show, the black backdrop makes the product the entire focus. Uniquely the fixture has an immensely strong upper shelf which appears to float due to clever structural engineering within. The shelf can support the weight of many kits and cases along its full width and the items are uplit from disguised LEDs in the header.
Etched acrylic logo panels are positioned where needed but have the flexibility to be moved to different places as required. The area was topped off with a hanging logo lightbox suspended for all to see once they climb the stairs to the cymbal loft.
Graham's reaction to the completed job was unequivocal : "It's fantastic, it really comes to life and we are thrilled at the execution by Splash Display Ltd"
Award winning Devon based technological mount specialists Scanstrut engaged Splash Display to provide a counter top point of sale solution for their revolutionary ROKK Mount and Charge product for Mercury Marine. This point of sale will be rolled out across Mercury Marine's worldwide dealer network in support of their Vesselview app.
Produced in gloss white and red acrylic the unit has a full colour printed graphic panel on the face and back, to promote the key innovative features of the product which has recently won Gold at the prestigious DAME awards in Amsterdam in November 2017. The unit is flexible allowing ease of updating over time.

Hampshire Football Association have completed the new sporting facilities at Front Lawn Recreation Ground in Leigh Park, Havant, and Splash Display were pleased to provide some of the finishing touches.
The £1.5m project provides a state-of-the-art new third generation (3G) artificial grass pitch (AGP) and an extension and remodelling of the on-site changing pavilion, to create an improved community hub building. The pavilion now includes office facilities, a learning and teaching area and community space. This is in addition to four team changing rooms, two officials’ changing rooms, a clubroom and a kitchen.
Splash Display were engaged to fit exterior brand signage, internal wayfinding signage and frosted window etched logos in key locations. Their restaurant areas, "The Dugout" benefits from a colourful new sign panel to help boost trade in hot chocolates and Bovril as expected by football fans everywhere!

The new facility was opened by Councillor Elaine Shimbart, the Mayor of Havant, Havant MP Alan Mak and local Front Lawn Primary Academy pupil, Olivia Carter.

Havant MP Alan Mak helped to officially unveil Havant Borough
Council’s new community sports hub in Leigh Park on Saturday (20
January). Its new facilities have been funded by a grant from the
Government, via Sport England, through the Premier League & The FA
The grant has enabled the Council to replace an existing grass pitch
with a state-of-the-art new third generation (3G) artificial grass pitch
(AGP). The new playing surface can be used all-year-round, even during
the winter months, and joins the site’s other full-size grass pitch,
junior-size pitch, grass training area and three tennis courts.
The funding has also supported the extension and remodelling of the
on-site changing pavilion, to create an improved community hub building.

area and community space. This is in addition to four team changing
rooms, two officials’ changing rooms, a clubroom and a kitchen.
We loved working with Childs Farm when they came to us looking not only for durable, large scale graphic printing, but also for a way to display them effectively.
Splash used the Childs Farm Old Red tractor for inspiration and sourced an advertising trailer measuring 12' x 8' to be attached to the tractor at outdoor displays and pop up stores.
Here's what Childs Farm Designer Nadine Laws had to say: "Splash Display recently printed graphics for our huge trailer advertising hoarding! They were incredibly helpful not only with the printing of the graphics, liaising closely with our design team regarding the specs, but also in sourcing a suitable trailer for what we needed to achieve. The finished trailer looks fantastic, with a giant baby on the side being pulled by an old red tractor, it will be sure to catch people’s eye! Thank you to Splash for your work on this project."
The great people at Marshall Amps returned to Splash Display to create their latest in-store display stands for their fully programmable CODE amps. The CODE can be connected via Bluetooth to record and stream music from an iOS, Android, PC or MP3 player. Splash Display were asked to create a stand that reflected Marshall Amps prominence in the music world and showcase the functionality of the high-tech amps enabling customers to 'Connect - Control - Create'.
The display stand consists of a branded plinth holding the amp with a shelf to support another amp with a Bluetooth connection to a tablet with a screen above to play video content. The customer can plug in their own or a store guitar and use headphones to test out the CODE.
25 stands were created and an additional 25 different units were shipped to large music retailers nationwide.
